A New Approach to Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour
Venue: London
Wednesday, February 08, 2012
Jane Plant, an associate in our Commercial
Dispute Resolution team, will be speaking at a Policy
Communications conference on 8 February in London looking at ‘A New
Approach to Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour’.
This practical, one-day conference will
explore the coalition government’s reforms of anti-social behaviour
powers — examining the new tools to be introduced and how these
will work in practice; assessing innovative approaches to
identifying vulnerable victims, adopting restorative justice
techniques and strengthening preventative work; considering new
models of funding; and asking how local communities themselves can
play a stronger role in tackling ASB.
Baroness Newlove of Warrington, the Government
Champion for Active Safer Communities, will be providing the
keynote presentation.
The conference is aimed at all those with a
role in tackling anti-social behaviour, including Housing
Anti-Social Behaviour Teams, Housing Officers and Managers, and
Housing Tenancy Enforcement Officers.
