Compl-i - May 2011
Welcome to our Compl-i newsletter, a bi-monthly review of
regulatory and compliance issues affecting solicitors.
The Final Draft of the new SRA Handbook was
published on 6 April and firms now have less than 6 months to get
to grips with it and train their staff before it comes into effect
on 6 October. We have already had a great uptake on our offer of
training, which involves bespoke discussions with a firm’s
management on what changes might be required as well as training to
fee earners, but we still have lots of availability left and we
would be delighted to discuss with you how we can help.
For more information on this or indeed any
compliance issues you may have, please contact Michelle Garlick at
