HIP’s – How much do they cost?
Recent research has shown that the price of HIP packages vary greatly depending on the supplier.  Figures show that those packages purchased from estate agents can cost up to 50% more than those bought directly from specialist HIP providers such as law firms. This can amount to an increase of £110 being paid by the consumer.  Such information should be kept in mind by solicitors when they are looking at marketing their own HIP’s service.
