“Spirit of Endava”
Our London team have been providing advice and
assistance to Endava Limited on reviewing and amending their
corporate procedures and provisions. Endava Limited is a
successful, and rapidly growing IT services company with an
enviable commercial client base. It was this year’s winner of the
prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast Track 50 award, and recently
ranked 24th fastest growing private technology company
in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 2009 list.
Medical Demerge-ncy
Ian Vicary and Laura Gittins have advised on
the internal reorganisation of Ultramedic Limited, a leading
company in the manufacture and distribution of medical test
equipment. The demerger formed two companies; one concerned with
manufacturing the products and the other to sell and distribute
them.
Posh nosh
Internationally renowned catering
entrepreneur, Charles Boyd, has set up a new company called
Hamilton Boyd Limited to manage his new venture. The company has
recently acquired the stunning Northumberland House right in the
heart of the City. It is currently undergoing renovation, dealt
with by our colleagues in the London property department. It is
anticipated it will be ready for business in early 2010, providing
an exquisite venue and exclusive catering (not a sausage roll in
sight!) for high-class events. John Connolly and our London team
are currently advising Hamilton Boyd Limited on its’ capital
investment, in collaboration with tax advisers Baker Tilly.
Mixing business and Pure
Leisure
Laura Gittins, along with our colleagues in
the Liverpool property department, were recently instructed by Pure
Leisure Lakes Limited, to deal with their purchase of a caravan
park in Lincolnshire. The company forms part of Pure Leisure Group
who own holiday parks throughout the country, including the
exclusive Lakeland Leisure Lodge complex which benefits from its
ideal location next to both the Lake District and Yorkshire
Dales.
