Euro Earthworks Limited has been ordered to pay £33,000 following death of construction worker who was crushed by a falling excavator bucket which contained two tonnes of concrete.

Successful prosecutions following exposure to the risk of asbestos at Marks and Spencer stores

Marks and Spencer and a number of contractors working on store refurbishments have been fined after potentially exposing construction workers, staff and members of the public to asbestos.

Coroners and Justices Act 2009 extends special measures for witnesses

Further information on the provisions of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 that came into effect in June.
