Court of Protection seminar - 31 March, London
Weightmans will host its Court of Protection update and workshop on Thursday 31 March in our London office. During the course of the afternoon we will look at recent decisions from the Court of Protection and their impact on the healthcare sector. We will also look at the relationship between the Mental Health Act 1983, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and consider when and how to apply the relevant provisions. We will then move on to a practical workshop where we will consider and discuss the types of capacity issues which those working in the healthcare arena are faced with on a regular basis.
