Weightmans and Ways HR Consulting are pleased to announce a seminar on Equal Pay. 

Who should attend ? :  The event is aimed at  public sector organisations including local authorities, NHS Trusts and police authorities.

Why is it important ? : Recent publicity regarding  Equal Pay and the new Equality Bill have highlighted the importance of transparent pay provisions.  Public sector organisations are already facing a surge in equal pay claims that tend to be expensive, time-consuming and attract considerable negative publicity.  We will consider future equal pay challenges that may be faced by such organisations and how interim measures may help deal with compliance.

How will it affect me? : The seminar aims to provide a comprehensive guide to the issues that arise in the context of equal pay claims, including current guidelines and the future statutory framework, as well as practical guidance on ensuring compliance.

Speakers:  From Weightmans, Jawaid Rehman will address key issues relating to  Equal Pay and the Equality Bill. Paul Robertson from Ways HR Consulting, will highlight equal pay compliance and modernising pay arrangements. Mark Leach from Weightmans will chair the meeting.

Registration and breakfast  will be from 9.00am with Chairman’s introduction at 9.30a.m. We anticipate it to finish at around 12.15pm.
