Redundancy

Clearly compromised

Workers cannot agree to contract out of their right to bring a tribunal claim, with the exception of compromise agreements.  We look at a case that said that the agreement must satisfy all the statutory requirements, irrespective of whatever other evidence exists. Pensions transfer

The 1981 Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations protect an employee’s contractual rights if their job is transferred to another employer.
