Assessments – Stage 1
Working to a deadline of 15 working days, we offer a dedicated,
experienced team ready to triage the claims as they arrive.
Indemnity
We can assess whether any issues arise such as coverage, usage,
disclosure or fronting.
Fraud
Our Fraud Indication Analysis process will detect if fraud is
suspected. Identified files will be referred to a specialist fraud
analyst to confirm the suspicions of fraud.
Liability
If there are no issues on indemnity or fraud then we will assess
whether to admit or deny liability and whether there is
contributory negligence (seatbelt-related or other cause).
Evaluation – Stage 2
We will ensure that the deadlines to assess the Stage 2
Settlement Pack, accept the offer or make a counter offer are
met.
Offer evaluation
We will evaluate the Settlement Pack and consider if offer
should be accepted. If so, we will complete the pack and collate
MI.
Counter offer
We will telephone claimant's representatives to narrow issues;
put forward a detailed counter offer. We would seek to extend
timelines maximise chance of early settlement. If unsuccessful, we
would raise interim cheques.
Final evaluation
Review offers to date and make a counter offer. If settlement
not reached, we will raise interim cheques, review Court
Proceedings Pack and confirm we are nominated to accept
service.
Representation – Stage 3
We will ensure all procedural issues are dealt with on time and
that you are effectively represented.
Paper hearings
We will review the papers for any issues of procedural concern
if necessary; advise the outcome of the hearing and finalise
damages and costs.
Oral attendance
We will review the
papers for any issues of procedural concern before either attending
the hearing ourselves or instructing counsel; advise outcome of the hearing and finalise
damages and costs.
Infant approval
We will deal with all procedural
issues and advise outcome of the hearing and finalise damages and
costs.
