Caroline read law at Sheffield University. She qualified at
Weightmans in 1995 and became a partner in 2005. Caroline acts for
police forces and other public authorities in defence of civil
claims, claims under the Race Relations Act and claims under the
Human Rights Act. Her reported cases include Ali Dear
v The Chief Constable of Merseyside Police; Lardier v The Chief
Constable of Merseyside Police and Connor v The Chief Constable of
Merseyside Police, all court of appeal. Caroline has
also obtained ASBOs and closure orders on behalf of police
forces.
