Clare is a partner based in the corporate team. She
specialises in non-contentious intellectual property, information
technology, general commercial, healthcare, data protection and
privacy and music related matters.
Clare trained at the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus
Deringer and, on qualification, spent 3 years as an associate in
the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department. Clare
then joined the London office of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP,
where she spent over 9 years in the Intellectual Property, Media
& Technology Department.
Clare focuses on the IP and IT aspects of corporate
transactions, IP assignment and licensing arrangements, general
commercial matters (including manufacturing and licensing
agreements and distribution agreements), software development and
licensing and IT services agreements (with a particular focus on
the provision of IT services and software to the NHS), data
protection and privacy issues (including the transfer of personal
data to non-EEA countries) and various music related
agreements.
