Dan qualified in 1984 and was appointed to Partner level in
1986, becoming the Head of Insurance for Eking Manning in 1996. Dan
joined Weightmans in 1999 where he became Director of
Insurance and member of the Management Board.
He is responsible for managing all lines of Insurance Business.
He is also client contact partner. He specialises in maximum
severity cases especially head injury, stress cases, Local
Authority work, product liability work and large employment
liability cases. Major cases include Kaur v CTP Coil Ltd CA
(2001) C.P. Rep 34.
He is listed in both Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and
The Legal 500.
Chambers Legal Guide stated that rivals deem Dan Cutts to be "a
worthy opponent.”
