Ian joined Weightmans in 1973. He was made a partner in 1978 and
has been senior partner of the
firm since 2000.
He is a
partner in the marine department and has specialist
expertise in international trade and arbitration work. He is
the honorary solicitor to the Liverpool Marine Engineers, Surveyors
and Naval Architects Guild and is a former arbitrator panel member of the Sports Dispute Resolution
Panel. He is an accredited mediator.
