James joined Weightmans in 1989, qualified as
a solicitor in 1991 and became a partner in 1997. He has 16 years
experience of professional indemnity claims acting for the insurers
of solicitors, barristers, engineers, surveyors and valuers.
He has extensive experience of alternative dispute resolution.
James is Weightmans’ Quality Systems and Risk
Management Partner, Financial Services Compliance Officer, Money
Laundering Compliance Officer and Data Protection Supervisor.
He leads the audit team and is responsible for the practice's
Lexcel accreditation. He deals with all the practice’s
professional indemnity insurance issues.
