Kevin joined Weightmans in 2009 from Keoghs LLP where he was a
partner and Head of Employment. He has wide experience of acting
for employers and employees and has particular expertise in dealing
with senior executive terminations.
Kevin has specialised in employment law since qualifying in 1998
and recommended in the latest editions of Chambers & Partners
and Legal 500.
He regularly presents training and seminars on a wide range of
employment law matters and is a regular speaker to the CIPD
membership.
Kevin has worked extensively in the private sector working with
business of all sizes from SMEs to PLCs. Kevin has particular
expertise in acting for solicitors’ firms, barristers chambers,
accountants’, doctors and dental practices.
Recent instructions have included advising a professional
practice on a claim of constructive dismissal and sex
discrimination, acting in a high value unfair dismissal claim
against a private hospital and dealing with numerous large scale
redundancy schemed in the retail sector.
