Martin joined Weightmans in 1992 and became a partner in
1997. He is Head of the nationally renowned Police Team, advising
police forces and their authorities across the country on a wide
range of issues. He has written and lectured extensively on police
law and risk management. Martin also advises other public sector
clients and government departments on public law issues. He has a
special interest in judicial review and defamation.
