Michael heads the Dispute
Resolution team in Liverpool and
Restructuring/Insolvency and Subrogation nationally. He
operates out of both the Liverpool and London offices. His areas of
practice include contract, commercial insurance (including
subrogation claims), company/shareholder/partnership disputes,
banking litigation and injunction proceedings, including
restraint of trade. Michael has expertise in technology
and construction claims within the TCC and litigates in all the
Higher Courts. He also advises upon all aspects of corporate
and personal insolvency including RoT claims, undervalue and
preference claims and freezing orders. He also has extensive
experience in acting for trustees in complex bankruptcy estate
matters. Michael is a full member of R3 and the Insolvency Lawyers
Association.

directory for dispute resolution and the Legal 500 for
restructuring/insolvency. His clients include Hoover-Candy,
Bibby Distribution, HFC Bank, BDO, Baker Tilly and
several large insurers.
