Mickaela specialises in Solicitors’ negligence
claims. She has acted for a number of large national firms and is
well regarded for her skill and expertise in the conduct of
complex, high value cases. Over the years Mickaela has advised on
claims involving trusts, taxation, banking, property and fraud. She
has also advised on coverage and policy issues.
Mickaela heads up a team of lawyers who deal
with regulatory and compliance issues that affect solicitors’
practice. Mickaela and the team are regularly called upon to
represent firm’s and individuals in their dealings with the SRA and
LCS. Recent instructions have included the miners cases, TAG,
rebates v commissions, websites/publicity and breaches of the
Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.
