Mike is Head of Professional Risk. He
has considerable experience resolving claims against construction
professionals and disputes on projects throughout the UK.
He advises on the interpretation of insurance contracts and
insurance issues generally. He has dealt with many claims
arising from foundation design on commercial and residential
developments. Most recently he has dealt with a substantial claim
involving allegations of subsidence on a large housing estate in
the north east.
He has mediated settlement of claims
worth in excess of £100m and resolved insurance disputes by means
of arbitration.
He has been described in Chambers
as "robust enough to deal with anything thrown at him" and was also
recognised for "really looking after his clients".
