Formerly with Mace & Jones, Mike is head of the banking and
finance area, having joined Weightmans in May 2011. He advises on
all aspects of financing businesses, corporate acquisitions and the
acquisition and development of property. He advises banks and other
lenders and insolvency practitioners on the nature and extent of
security available, personal and corporate guarantees and the
rights of competing creditors, whether secured or otherwise.
Mike regularly advises a wide range of financial institutions
and existing clients include Flourish Capital Limited, Bank of
Ireland, Lloyds Banking Group (incorporating Bank of Scotland),
Santander UK plc, Flourish Capital Limited, The Co-operative Bank
p.l.c. and Yorkshire Bank.
Mike is consistently recommended by the Legal Directories and is
listed as a leader in the field in the 2011 edition of Chambers
& Partners.
