Peter joined Weightmans in September 1997. He
became a Partner in 2005. Peter specialises in the area of personal
injury litigation, defending employers and public liability claims
for major insurers, and defendant companies. In addition Peter
heads up the national Leisure unit, advising companies and
defending claims in the leisure sector. He has written for a number
of publications including Post Magazine, Insurance Times and trade
press in relation to such risks. In 2006 Peter qualified as a
Mediator with the Academy of Experts.
Peter is a member of FOIL. He is also Weightmans CSR Partner,
strategically leading the firm’s fundraising, pro bono and
community initiatives. The firm
has been shortlisted for a number of CSR awards over the past few
years, most recently the British Legal Awards
2010.
