Philip joined Weightmans as a partner in 2010,
specialising and advising third sector bodies on all aspects of
governance. His expertise includes the creation of and advice
on industrial and provident societies, companies limited by
guarantee and community interest companies, including advising on
registered and exempt charity issues including registration.
Philip also advises on all aspects of
externalisations, including advice to local authorities, registered
providers, ALMOs and charities. He is also one of the most
experienced project lawyers, having led on over 50 stock transfers
as well as ALMO, joint ventures and PFI projects.
Philip is recommended in Chambers &
Partners and Legal 500 and is a member of the Charity Law
Association and ACIArb.
