Richard was Managing Partner of Mace & Jones prior to
its merger with Weightmans and former head of Mace & Jones’
Dispute Resolution Department in Manchester.
With over 17 years of experience, Richard specialises in all
aspects of commercial dispute resolution including partnership
matters, commercial disputes and judicial review.
The Lawyer Awards 2006 shortlisted Mace & Jones for
Employment team of the year, citing the case Celtec v
Astley [2006] UK HL 29 that Richard took to the House of
Lords. Richard’s other reported cases are Bruce Cook v
Vehicle Inspectorate [1999] HL and Kemble v
Hicks [1999] PLR 287.
