Robert heads the Commercial Dispute Resolution
and Restructuring & Insolvency team in Manchester. He has a
team of nine lawyers and he has extensive experience of complex
commercial contract disputes, Commercial Court and TCC work,
insolvency matters, partnership disputes, property disputes and
ADR. He is also a fully trained mediator.
Robert acts for clients ranging from PLCs to SMEs as
well as many Insolvency Practitioners and Insurers. He
specialises in complex commercial, property, and trust
disputes and all types of insolvancy matters. Over the last 12
months Robert has been engaged in helping clients to pursue
recoveries and to take preventative steps arising out of employee
and third party dishonesty as well as dealing with the removal of
defamatory internet content from website and on line social
networking forums.
Robert also advises insurer clients in
relation to claims brought against licensed conveyancers and other
professionals. Experience includes obtaining injunctions to avoid
dissipation of assets, advice on varied property litigation
matters.
In relation to insolvency matters Robert has
experience in dealing with both corporate insolvency actions and
all aspects of personal insolvency. He has acted on RoT claims,
undervalue and preference claims and all other manner of corporate
disputes.
