Admitted in 1994, Sally has been a partner since 1999 and joined
Weightmans in April 2011.
Sally specialises in insurance litigation and in particular
catastrophic injury cases, and in spinal injury and brain damage
claims. She also has extensive experience in dealing with high
value stress claims, both in connection with excessive workload and
bullying/harassment scenarios, as well as other work related
illnesses and industrial disease claims.
Sally is experienced in periodical payments cases and is able to
advise extensively in connection with the ramifications of PPOs,
whether they are self-funded or dealt with via the purchase of an
annuity.
Sally also has extensive experience in connection with the wide
range of issues specific to catastrophic injury cases, ranging from
accommodation claims (residential and domiciliary) to statutory
funding issues, including reverse indemnity principles.
Sally is a member of FOIL (Forum of Insurance Lawyers).
