Simon qualified in 1996 and has
worked exclusively in the personal injury sector, firstly as a
claimant lawyer and then for the defendant. He specialises in
employers’ and public liability claims for major insurers, and he
regularly acts for large investor insureds and multi-national
companies in proactively managing their EL/PL exposure.
Simon has previously worked on foreign
jurisdiction claims and large group actions including for example
the MMR litigation, and Giambrone & Others v Sunworld,
a travel illness claim which involved over 600 individuals and was
the subject of a number of Court of Appeal judgments.
Simon regularly presents training and seminars
in his subject area, and has been published and quoted in the
national media.
