Steve has spent his entire legal career at Weightmans. He
is an experienced employment lawyer and advocate.
Steve has in depth experience of employment issues arising
in both public and private organisations and has a particular
expertise in the education sector where he regularly advises a
large portfolio of university, school and college clients. Steve
also acts for a number of police forces and has comprehensive
knowledge of the application of police regulations to serving
officers, in addition to advising on complex tribunal disputes
involving serving officers and civilian employees such as
disability, race and sex discrimination claims.
Steve handles board room disputes, facilitates senior
executive terminations and manages employment related project work.
He regularly undertakes advocacy at the Employment Tribunal and
Employment Appeals Tribunal and has a formidable ‘win’
record.
Steve focuses on providing straightforward and practical
advice mainly to employers to achieve outcome based
solutions.
