Admitted in 1984, Tom has been a partner since 1989 and joined
Weightmans in April 2011.
Tom is an experienced lawyer, concentrating on public liability,
employer’s liability and personal injury claims primarily for local
authorities and housing associations. He has dealt with a number of
fraudulent claims. His clear and decisive approach is vital to
maintaining the long established relationships with these key
clients.
In addition, Tom has expertise in health and safety matters,
including advising clients involved with Health and Safety
Executive prosecutions. He also deals with Road Traffic
prosecutions, primarily on behalf of insurers.
Tom regularly provides training to clients and gives seminars on
his areas of expertise, particularly in respect of personal injury
and health and safety matters.
Tom is a member of FOIL (Forum of Insurance Lawyers).
