Her expertise is in dealing with catastrophic personal injury claims (EL,PL and RTA).  Analytical, hardworking, determined and unflappable she is recognised in the legal directories as standing out for her legal knowledge and featured in Chambers UK (2011) as ‘up and coming’ and  Legal 500 (2011) as ‘a strong choice for the most difficult disputes’.

Victoria has experience in dealing with the full range of catastrophic injuries including spinal injuries (including tetraplegia and paraplegia), an extensive range of head injuries (including persistent vegetative state and minimal awareness cases), amputations, brachial plexus injuries etc.  She also has experience of dealing with the added complexities where the claimant lives abroad having dealt with high value claims with claimants resident in Canada, America and the Isle of Man.

Victoria has lectured widely to the market on aspects of large loss claims handling.  She has had a number of articles published and is a member of Headway, The Spinal Injuries Association and FOIL.  She has also been a representative on FOIL’s Special Interest Group – catastrophic claims.
