Adam Skelland

Adam is an experienced solicitor who specialises in defendant credit hire.

He joined Weightmans in 2016, following a seven year stint at another leading law firm.

Adam has extensive experience in defending personal injury and credit hire claims, claims for credit hire from companies, with particular knowledge and experience in claims for replacement taxis.

Adam’s noteworthy cases are Lubhaya v Stanley a case involving estoppel and acceptance of zero offers, and Ali v Bayliss surrounding the correct assessment of damages where the claimant is a taxi company or an individual who operates a fleet of vehicles.
