Danielle Best

Danielle is a Legal Director based in our Manchester office. She has over 20 years’ experience of managing complex, high-value cases requiring technical expertise and leadership. Clients have included a variety of insurers, organisations and individuals in a broad range of contentious matters including professional indemnity claims, high-value property damage claims, subrogated claims, coverage disputes, commercial disputes and regulatory matters. 

Danielle developed her experience of managing complex, high-profile cases when she spent time working as a senior in-house lawyer at the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, where she acted on contentious data protection and enforcement cases. 

Danielle also has extensive trial and mediation experience.

Danielle is passionate about social mobility and was a member of the Law Society’s first cohort of Ambassadors for Social Mobility. As part of this role, she has mentored several Law Society Diversity Access Scheme students, offering work experience and providing support and guidance on pursuing a career in law.
