John Gibney

John is an Associate Solicitor who has been with Weightmans since 2016, based at our Liverpool office.

For several years John has acted for many well-known insurers and corporates in the defence of high value claims and has an in-depth knowledge of the CPR, the insurance market and insurance law.

John is currently involved with a wide variety of complex professional indemnity claims concerning numerous professionals such as surveyors, approved inspectors, architects and building contractors. In addition, John has expanding experience in other niche sectors within the professional indemnity specialism including finance and policy coverage.
