Admitted in 1994, Karyn has been a partner since 1999 and joined Weightmans in April 2011.
Karyn works for insurance and corporate clients, the latter including multinational public limited companies and small businesses. Karyn has considerable experience in dealing with all types of personal injury litigation, principally product liability, employers' liability, and public liability claims.
Karyn heads up the product liability team within Weightmans. She advises in respect of legal, commercial and reputational issues in connection with recalls. She deals with claims of all values, including low-value claims where the need for expertise in brand reputation is required.
Claims come from a wide variety of sectors but Karyn has specific experience of claims within the retail, food and drink, manufacturing and automotive sectors.
Karyn is a member of FOIL (Forum of Insurance Lawyers).
