A new year, a new start for Weightmans’ latest Birmingham recruit

Weightmans LLP is continuing to strengthen its Midlands offering as new partner Simon Taylor joins the firm’s Birmingham-based Disease and Commercial Insurance team.

Previously at personal injury specialists Keoghs for 4 years, Simon now joins Weightmans with a focus on the defence of employers’ and public liability personal injury claims.

Since his qualification in 1996, Simon has developed expertise in a wide range of injury litigation, both on the side of Claimants and Defendants.

Adrian Marston, Partner and Head of the Commercial Insurance team in Birmingham, says:

Simon explains why he was keen to make the move, commenting:

Simon’s arrival comes just months after Weightmans’ Midlands offices retained a high ranking in the Personal Injury: Mainly Defendant category in legal directory Chambers UK, with the department singled out for its "very good preparation and good technical judgement."
