Cheshire professionals invited to new networking event

Solicitors at the Knutsford office of law firm Weightmans LLP are getting into the Christmas spirit on Wednesday 21 December to launch their regional networking group Cheshire Young Professionals.

Concerned at a lack of business networking in the region that specifically catered for young professionals, a group of lawyers in Weightmans’ Private Client team decided to launch their own.

The first event will be held at the Weightmans office at 98 King Street from 6pm – 8pm, giving the opportunity for the region’s next generation of professional talent to get to know each other over festive refreshments.

Rachel Harper, Solicitor in the Family Law team at Weightmans said:

"We are really looking forward to our launch of Cheshire Young Professionals. It will be great for young professionals from all kinds of business sectors across Cheshire to have a forum in which to socialise and build future business contacts.

“This isn’t just a formal networking event – it’s a chance to make new friends as well as business contacts and we hope that this will be the first of many regular get-togethers.”

Co-organiser, Solicitor Richard Dobell added:

“We are really looking forward to the event, this group will offer something new to the current networking offering in Cheshire and we hope our attendants agree – and enjoy the mince pies and mulled wine too!”
