For a fixed annual premium, you can cover your legal costs and
any resulting compensatory awards as well as benefit form the peace
of mind this brings.
Weightmans can arrange insurance to protect your organisation
against the risks of employment disputes made against your
organisation by an existing or ex-employee.
In the unfortunate event of an employment claim the insurance
can provide indemnity against both the legal costs of defending an
employment tribunal claim (including solicitors’ fees, counsel’s
fees and any disbursements) as well as compensation awarded by an
employment tribunal.
As standard the policy will provide cover up to a limit of
£250,000 per claim.
