Employment law update: What’s in store for employment law in 2017? (EV568)
We are delighted to announce our next round-up of employment law seminars 2017
Our free round-up seminar will look back at recent ‘need to know’ developments as well as looking forward to changes in the pipeline. The session will of course touch on what the employment law landscape may look like post-Brexit, but will cover a broad range of other employment law essentials.
The session will highlight the newest employment cases and how they shape the decisions you make every day. We’ll talk you through the hot-topic of ‘employment status’, analysing the recent high-profile decisions in Uber and Citysprint to highlight areas of risk to your business. We will offer up to date legal insight into conducting conduct dismissals and investigations (including how you should treat a final written warning on an employee’s record), making reasonable adjustments for disabled employees, considering requests for flexible working and calculating holiday pay.
We will also update you on your reporting obligations under the Gender Gap Reporting Regulations, changes to strike law, changes to public sector exit payments and proposals to reform the employment tribunal system.
As always, the seminar will be packed full of practical examples of how the changes might impact on your business and there will an opportunity to ask questions.
