Our final public sector webinar of 2021 looks at developments in social care claims over the last year, and also casts an eye over further developments expected in 2022. With two further key judgments expected from the High Court, this webinar will allow you to end the year fully updated on this large and complex area of claims.
With plenty of essential discussion points to cover, we are dividing this webinar into two sessions, split either side of a two hour break. They will run from 10:30am to 12pm, and from 2pm to 3pm. The sessions will be chaired by Helen Brown, our Head of Local Government Litigation, and will feature the following leading practitioners on the following topics:
- Vicarious liability and non-delegable duties
- Human rights
- Duty of care
- Developments in Scotland including limitation, redress schemes, and the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry
- Future developments including IICSA, ADR, costs, and the ABI guidelines on sexual abuse cases
This event will be hosted on Zoom. If you have any restrictions within your organisation with using Zoom please raise with our event co-ordinator, Melissa Owen-Young.
Please register below to confirm your attendance and feel free to attend one or both sessions. Once registered, you will receive joining details nearer to the event.
