Join us for the second event in the new “Staying Safe” series for Transport Managers in association with CILT. Our transport experts, once again featuring our own Chris Powell and Charlotte Hunt and our Employment expert Mark Landon, joined by industry experts Rob Beckers, Metropolitan Police Commercial Vehicle UnitTom Reddy, Transport Consultant and Peter Rushmer, Transport Consultant, Flagship Partners will be discussing just how extensive a transport manager’s duties are to safeguard the wellbeing of the drivers and the staff that they manage.

This one-hour discussion will explore:

  • The tragic, but growing trend of suicide by commercial vehicle
  • A fleet manager’s duties of welfare under health and safety legislation
  • How the Metropolitan Police Commercial Vehicle Unit is raising awareness through engaging with the transport industry

We will exploring what safe and compliant fleet management looks like, and where the risks ahead lie for transport managers and operators
