Spotlight on mental health in the workplace
How do we cultivate and create a happier workforce?
This event has now finished.
Join us during the International Week of Happiness at Work for our virtual panel event shining a spotlight on mental health in the workplace.
Research by Oxford University found that employees are 13% more productive when they are happy at work.
Happiness at work also leads to improved customer experience and reduced staff turnover and sickness absence which is critical in light of the fact that stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 17 million days lost due to work-related ill health in 2021/22 according to the HSE.
Our panel event will involve a variety of guests from different organisations, including Dr Robert F. Kehoe, Consultant Psychiatrist, Christine Clark, a Trainer for Mental Health First Aid England and Business leaders from Weightmans, Zurich and PwC. All coming together to discuss the current issues and trends causing absence from work due to mental health and discuss what managers and businesses can do to create a happier workforce.
This session is aimed at anyone involved in the management of employees.
