Calling all Monitoring officers

Weightmans and Hoey Ainscough would like to invite you their next Monitoring officers conference

An essential conference for all monitoring officers, deputy monitoring officers and senior local government officers aspiring to be a monitoring officer.  It will be particularly of interest to those who are recently appointed to the role or considering it as the next career step. 

It will take a practical look at the role and responsibilities that come with it, consider how to navigate the standards framework and provide essential tips on managing within a political environment.  It will also offer insights on the Chief Executive and member’s views of the monitoring officer role.  It will focus on real life situations and scenarios delivered by presenters with considerable experience in acting as and advising Monitoring Officers.

When: Thursday 12 September 2019

Where: Weightmans LLP, The Hallmark Building, London

Time: Registration will be 9.30 am for a 10.00 am start. Lunch will be provided and will finish at 4.00pm. 

Cost: The fee is £150 plus VAT. An invoice will be raised upon registration and upon payment your place will be secured. Confirmation will follow in due course.
(The delegate fee includes, attendance at all sessions, conference materials, refreshments and lunch. 

We offer CPD points for all our events. There are 4.5 points available for this conference.
