NHS Club: Getting away with it? Harassment in the NHS

Weightmans LLP London Office
Starts: 21/02/2018 09:00 - 11:00

This event has now finished.

You will all be aware of the ongoing media coverage of sexual harassment allegations involving high profile individuals in their workplaces. You may also have seen a recent Nursing Times article which suggests that medical staff are treated more leniently than their nursing colleagues, when found to have committed serious misconduct.

So, we thought now was a good time to recap on the legal principles in harassment cases, look at how this impacts more broadly on the employment relationship, consider the disparate treatment angle and also discuss the potential for resulting civil claims. As ever you will have the opportunity to discuss trends you are seeing and your experiences of handling harassment cases with speakers Rachel Kneale, Emlyn Williams and Paul McFarlane.

Our next session, is taking place at our London office on 21 February.
