National law firm Weightmans LLP has been selected as a finalist in the Innovation in Practice category for the Scottish Legal Awards 2017.

The firm was shortlisted for the creation and implementation of its property management product, ‘Property View’, created after substantial research into the client requirements.

The unique product is an integrated. easy-to-use, web based property management tool that offers secure management and documentary control of the client’s entire property portfolio. Several clients are already using the system with great success, and more are being enrolled regularly.

Cassy Auld, Partner in the Scotland Real Estate team at Weightmans said:

“To be shortlisted for this award in such a competitive year is fantastic recognition of the skill, care and client-led approach to service and development. Property View is gaining real traction amongst a range of our UK clients and we are constantly looking at ways to make it better for the best client experience possible.

“We look forward to the ceremony in March and have our fingers crossed for the trophy!”

The Scottish Legal Awards, now in its 14th year, celebrates the Scottish legal industry and welcomed entries from individuals and firms from across the country. Weightmans was shortlisted by a judging panel following a lengthy private debate, selected from the highest number of nominations ever received in the awards’ history.

The winners will be announced at a black tie awards dinner on Thursday 30 March 2017 in Edinburgh.
