Weightmans supports Royal Mail and the Rowland Hill Memorial and Benevolent Fund

National law firm Weightmans is one of the sponsors of a team of riders from Royal Mail who are cycling 250 miles in three days

The firm has made a corporate donation in support of the team, who are cycling through four countries in the bid to raise over £36,000 for the Rowland Hill Fund.

Founded in 1882, the Rowland Hill Fund offers financial grants to postal people facing homelessness, life-changing health challenges or unexpected financial difficulties. Its support is available to Royal Mail Group’s past and present colleagues and their dependents.

The Royal Mail team will be joined by riders from their suppliers, contractors and consultants involved in delivering the Royal Mail Midlands Super Hub. Setting off from Royal Mail’s Headquarters in London on 28 July, the team will travel to Harwich, then Rotterdam to Bruges and finally Bruges to Lille.

Weightmans Partner David Tabinor pictured with Royal Mail's Liam Staniland said:

"We are delighted to support Royal Mail and the Rowland Hill Fund. The support the charity offers to postal people facing hardship is vitally important, life changing work. We wish the cyclists the very best of luck with their challenge and offer our warmest congratulations for their incredible fundraising efforts."
