Overview

The regulatory regime around energy projects and transmission can be daunting. The roles of our network operators are evolving and changes to the regulatory regime can have significant implications for stakeholders in the energy sector. We have a vastly experienced team, some of whom have spent significant amounts of time working in-house for key utilities such as National Grid and Severn Trent Water, who can guide our clients through the complex regulatory issues that are emerging as we transition to an increasingly low carbon energy system.

We have a strong track record of advising on all aspects of the regulatory regime in the energy sector including advising on gas and electricity codes and regulatory issues, balancing services, changes to network charging regimes, procurement advice, commercial arrangements in relation to electricity interconnectors and liquefied natural gas
