In recent years there has been an increased understanding of ‘neurodiversity’, including the potential impact of neurodivergent conditions in the workplace. In this webinar Sejal Raja and Mark Landon will explain the key legal considerations when managing neurodivergent staff and will look at some of the practical measures that have proven supportive and effective. The webinar will cover:
- The meaning of ‘neurodiversity’, including what it means to be ‘neurotypical’ and ‘neurodivergent’;
- The key legal considerations when managing neurodivergent staff, including when they might be regarded as being ‘disabled’ for the purposes of the Equality Act 2010 and the practical consequences of this, including the duty on employers to implement reasonable workplace adjustments; and
- Examples of practical measures that might be implemented by employers to support neurodivergent staff and enable them to fulfil their full potential.
There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and share views.
