We are delighted to announce that Partners Saira Ali and Ian Pace will be delivering a seminar on sexual harassment in the workplace, at our Manchester office, on Tuesday 20 January 2025.
The session will provide an overview of the legal protection against discrimination in the workplace and will also consider some of the more common workplace challenges. We will consider:
- Achieving equality – ethical/commercial considerations and evolving challenges
- Legal protection against discrimination including:
- The relevant provisions of the Equality Act 2010
- Protection from unfair dismissal
- The Public Interest Disclosure Act (Whistleblowing protection)
- Personal injury
- The preventative duty – the duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment
- Future developments – the Employment Rights Bill
- Common workplace challenges
- Case studies
There will also be breakfast items and drinks available. This event is free to attend.
