Our Newcastle office is situated in St James Gate in the heart of Newcastle City Centre and in close proximity to Newcastle Train Station. Our Solicitors in Newcastle act for clients across the UK and internationally.

Parking and arrival
- The nearest accessible parking is located on Times Square Car Park across from the office. Parking can also be accommodated directly outside the building for a short period and should be requested in advance through the office manager, Steven Darnell, at steven.darnell@weightmans.com.
- Parking bays are available on Scotswood Road for Blue Badge Holders.
- Alternatively, there is a drop off point outside the main building. We can also arrange for a permit to be given by the building manager with prior notice.
Building access
- Access via Weightmans is via the intercom by pressing the Weightmans button situated next to the main door on the outside.
- Once inside the building, make your way to the lift and Weightmans is on floor 5
Interior navigation
- Lighting in the reception area is controlled by switches, however visitors using meeting rooms will be able to turn the lights on and off.
- Doors to all rooms are 89cm wide.
- There is level access to the toilets which are located in area by the lift and are clearly marked.
Amenities & Facilities
- Accessible toilets are located on the ground floor of the building.
- The ground floor accessible toilet cubicle has a door width of 92cm and space for a wheelchair, sink and hand dryer.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.

How to get to our Newcastle office
By train
Newcastle Central Station is Newcastle’s main rail hub and is just a 5-minute walk from the office. Exit the station onto Neville Street, head west towards St James’ Boulevard, then turn right onto St James’ Gate.
By Metro
The nearest Metro station is Central Station, which is connected to the mainline station and only a short walk from the office.
By bus
Newcastle has an extensive bus network. The closest stops are at Central Station and along St James’ Boulevard, both within a few minutes’ walk. For live timetables, visit Nexus.
By car
The office is easily accessible from the A1 and A167. Follow signs for Newcastle City Centre and then St James’ Boulevard.
Nearby parking options include Times Square Car Park and Grainger Town Car Park.
By air
Newcastle International Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by taxi. The Metro Green Line runs from the airport to Central Station in about 25 minutes, then it’s a short walk to the office.
