Anisa is a Solicitor in the Immigration team based in Glasgow.
Anisa specialises in both personal and business immigration matters, offering strategic advice and tailored legal solutions. This includes reviewing company policies to ensure that they are compliant with the immigration rules and procedures, advising on business immigration queries including sponsorship licence applications (new or renewal), right to work queries and mock UKVI compliance audits, as well as providing clients with day-to-day advice on the overlap between immigration and employment law. She provides advice to multinational organisations, universities, schools, NHS Trusts, engineering firms and retailers (as well as many more).
In areas of personal immigration, she has supported clients with applications for spouse and partner visas, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), British citizenship, family reunification, human-rights based claims, and many more. She provides clear, strategic advice tailored to the unique circumstances of each client, including vulnerable individuals and those with complex immigration histories.
Anisa contributes regularly to legal updates and commentary, including published articles on immigration law developments. These provide a practical insight for both corporate and individual clients.
She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA). Anisa carries out pro bono work for the University of Strathcylde, providing clear and solution-orientated advice to those who are not able to access legal services. She is also one of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Champions
