Anne-Marie is a Principal Associate in the Corporate team, based in the firm’s Manchester office. Anne-Marie qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and joined Weightmans in 2018.
Anne-Marie advises on a full spectrum of corporate matters, with a particular focus on M&A work. Alongside share sales and purchases, she has extensive experience in group reorganisations, equity investments, asset sales, shareholder arrangements and buy-outs, as well as advising on employee ownership trusts (EOTs). Anne-Marie also assists clients with shareholders’ agreements, PSC requirements, and general company law issues. Anne-Marie is experienced in navigating complex transactions and delivering commercially focused solutions that support clients’ strategic objectives.
Anne-Marie acts for a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, national and international corporates, GP practices, care homes, tech start-ups, financial services organisations, and insurance brokers.
Transactions Anne-Marie has acted on include:
• The sale of Caunce O’Hara Insurance Brokers Limited to Markel Capital Holdings Limited.
• The purchase by Kreiss SIA of C Neil Dowson Limited.
• Stephens & George Limited acquisition of the Pensord Group.
